Goonbell Guitar Repairs was set up in 2019 by me, Simon Roberts, but I've been playing, repairing, building and trading guitars, basses and amplifiers since the early 1990s. After working for five years at the prestigious Vintage & Rare Guitars in Bath, a stint as a guitar tech and touring the world as guitarist with the rock band Countermine, I came back to my ancestral home of the north Cornish coast in 2014 where I live with my family. With over 25 years experience repairing and trading vintage and modern guitars, basses and amplifiers, I'm ready to handle your repair needs and have the experience, equipment and skills required to guarantee satisfaction.

Based in Goonbell on the outskirts of the picturesque village of St Agnes on the north coast of Cornwall, we are within easy reach of the A30 just five minutes from Chiverton Cross roundabout. The nearby village of St Agnes has a gorgeous sandy beach at Trevaunance Cove and the village has lots to offer in terms of places to see, things to do and some excellent pubs, bars and restaurants.
